At this moment, Thomas has gone to bed for the evening (with the chance of being 5 hours before we hear from him again) and Jacob is with Daniel at a Phoenix Suns basketball game. So, aside from making myself some random late dinner and scrubbing the kitchen floor, I'll add these pictures of the "date" I had with my littlest man. It sometimes hurts a bit to see him grow up so stinkin' fast while I'm at work all day, but evenings like tonight are gold. And he is just so precious.
Thomas has discovered his head. He doesn't yet know/care about his feet, but today he couldn't get enough of his own head.
Apparently, he also couldn't get enough of my knee.
While Thomas and Jacob do not seem to share the elf ears (as we affectionately call Jacob's lobes), this shot of Thomas is like so many chubby-cheeked, blue-eyed, silly smirks we had coming from baby Jacob, too.
That's all for now.
You all may remember Tavin, Jacob's Berkeley then Washington state friend. Well, Tavin and parents Chris and Sarah are headed this way this Tuesday...we're super excited. And I'm sure there will be pictures. Stay tuned.

Hey, Thomas only needs to learn "shoulders" and "toes" before belting out THAT song!
Yep, we view the Thomas smirk with pride as it demonstrates brilliance, curiosity and awareness. He has a great future with brother in the management team at Mischievous, Inc.
Hope Jacob loved the game and all the people action. Trying to get him hooked early,eh?
We miss you and love you all!
PS. It's sleeting now in Raleigh. We're expecting snow later today!*%
Thomas, look at you go! You got that smirk and the eyebrow down perfectly. Goodness, the girls are going to be putty in your hands, ha.
I hope Jacob enjoyed the game and the endless action that was going on! Although, I would suggest hockey, ha. *cough*devils*cough*
Sending lots of love
