A few firsts and Halloween

This would've been Jacob's first rainbow, but he was asleep in the car (riding to the Seattle airport). Next time...

First visit of a newborn, yay for Rosie Roberts arriving Oct 27th! (You'll likely see more of her during this school year).

Jacob's first juice box...and really, first serving of juice that's not from someone else's cup.

Jacob attending his first birthday party; his Swedish friend Jenny turned 3! The Halloween theme fit just right as it was all new and hilarious for Jenny.

His first taste of popcorn, thanks Jenny and her parents Sophia and Anders! By the way, he loved it so much he chased Sophia and the bucket of popcorn down the walkway.

And jacob as a little fireman.

He refused to wear the hat, and much of it was too big....but he nailed the "wee-ooo weeee-ooo" siren sound. And "Booo".
We're so proud.
Happy November!

Hello, Rosie! Congratulations to the proud parents, Bree and Ryan....We hear you are taking to your new roles splendidly! It was serendipitous that the Pughs were visiting your mutual friends the Odies when Rosie started her birth journey! Kisses to Rosie.

Fireman Jacob can rescue us anytime. He looks adorable in his Halloween duds! Dana will be so proud to see his raincoat used in such an honorable way.

Yum, popcorn. He's a party animal. I can see it now---Jacob watching football surrounded by all his popcorn eating buddies, girls included!

Oh,we'll have to find that 80's movie about the science experiment gone awry, popcorn filling the house and beyond! He'd love that.
Just be sure to find those annoying "stuck in the teeth" pieces before he swears off the stuff. We want to share our bowls with him at Christmas!

Thanks for the great photos and keeping us updated on all the action. We love you forever!

"Roosiee!"...Where's Jim?
**(She DOES realize that there is a lifetime full of that ahead of her, yes?)

Jacob- you're just...enchanting! I love the costume and don't blame you for being terrified by that heavy and extremely harsh sounding hat.

Glad to see that Jacob's 'list of firsts' was kept PG. Keep it that way until you're 30+ and old...like Uncle Dana.

Its official. Jacob's my favorite fireman. Ever. I was anxiously waiting to see what he had worn for Halloween. As usual, he didn't disappoint :-)
